WHEN CONVERSION IS UNREAL
The proof of genuine conversion is a changed life. An unchanged life claiming to be saved or born-again is living in self deception. How terrible! There are many such counterfeit Christians in town today.
Scriptures in 2Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways. ..”
Let’s turn from profanity to spirituality, worldliness to godliness, pretense to being real. “Turn from their wicked ways” is part of the New Testament definition of Repentance. Have you repented? Is yours real or fake?
Upon the land and people of Nineveh, divine judgement was set. Doomsday was near. Suddenly, the people turned, in response to Prophet Jonah’s preaching.
“And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.” Jonah 3:10
Your works should speak! A changed life without a corresponding actions or works is fake Christianity.
“Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God.” Matthew 3:8 (NEW LIVING TRANSLATION)
Heavenly Father, I refuse to bring shame and humiliation, by my lifestyle and actions, to your name and kingdom. Purge and cleanse me of anything that might make me unworthy of a true kingdom ambassador. In Jesus name!
