English author and poet, William Shakespeare, wrote many years back: “Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.” Regardless how it is conferred, it is my humble submission that no one should be connected to the great God and live anything less than great. That will be an aberration, a total disregard for our redemption privilege. You won’t live less. As this year continues to unwind, get ready; you will step into greatness without limits, in the name of Jesus!!! God spoke specifically to Abraham. “And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.” – Genesis 12: 2. You see, the blessing didn’t stop with Abraham; it was extended to his son, Isaac. “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great.” Genesis 26: 12-13. From Isaac, it further went to Jacob. It says in Galatians chapter three verse 29, “And if ye be Christ’s then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to promise.” You are Christ’s, and by extension, Abraham’s seed. By reason of this connection, therefore, you are solidly positioned for greatness. Check the history of great men and women. One of the proven ways greatness has been earned in generations past is by doing something others haven’t done. Wanted: trailblazers and history makers! Beloved, there is something to do! Isaac, for example, sowed and reaped a 100-fold same year, in the same land. No one did that before; this marked his ascent into another class – Genesis 26:12! The same is very true of Jacob. He attributed his amazing wealth transfer technology from the hand of his uncle Laban to a supernatural dream given to him by God – Genesis 31:7-12. No one had this kind of a dream before. “Thus God hath taken away the cattle of your father, and given them to me.” verse 9. In the case of David, he killed Goliath, a national terrorist of Israel; a feat none of the professional soldiers in Israel could dare. He rose, instantly, to stardom – 1 Samuel 18:6-7. You are next. Destiny beckons. What will you do that someone else has not done? Greatness flows in your veins. There is no better time to step out and do what you are wired to accomplish. You have what it takes. I see you walk into greatness, increase in greatness, until your greatness in the land of the living is not in doubt. See you on top. In Jesus precious name!
